REZ BIZ magazine readership continues to grow as evident from our web site. This month the www.REZ-BIZ.com web site received over 42,000 hits; an increase of 21% from the April issue.

But what does this mean?
Generally, web site hits are the number of times your site receives a hit. So, when you go online and type in a site address and you go to the site, that is one hit. Then if you visit a page on the site, that is another hit. In one visit you can rack up 5-10 hits or more. So, in theory we could add more pages for people to visit, and thus artifically increase the number of hits.   And you do this by adding extras like news feeds, games, setup a photo exchange, e-mail storage, chat board, and discussion boards.   Newspaper post stories on a daily basis.   When you add these features you get numbers in the millions like many sites.

For those who've visited www.REZ-BIZ.com you probably noticed it doesn't have all these "extras."   Right now, we just have the publication download, plus a few posted stories.   Most visitors go to our site to download the publication then return the following month. People don't hang around the site. So, one way to interpret this is that we have consistent business readers visiting our site each month and the numbers keep growing.

So for a site that is updated once a month and has no bells and whistles, we think these numbers are impressive, and show readership growth at the regional and national level.

On the graph shown above, created from site statistics, the item marked "A" is when we changed course and made personnel and management changes. And at "B" we did not publish an issue for May 2006.
